Two letters from 2006 from the former owner are attached, attesting that this pair of gloves came from a lot recovered from the family of Colonel Barre, Head of the Marechal's Personal Guard. Very supple leather in good condition. The crispin gloves of the Head of State's Personal Guard were made specifically for the occasion by a leather company in Saint-Junien in the Charentes region. Pair of white fine leather gloves with extended cuffs worn by members of the Marshal's Personal Guard. Size 8 stamped inside. Comes with two 2006 letters from the former owner, certifying that this pair was part of a lot obtained from the family of Colonel Barre, Chief of the Marshal's Personal Guard. Supple leather, very good condition. These gloves were specially made for the unit by a leather workshop in Saint-Junien (Charente region).
