Fastened with 3 leather side straps and underfoot strap. Both with the same Kaiserliche Marine T-shaped receipt stamp, received at the BAK, the clothing shop in Kiel on 17 March 1915. One of them with handwritten markings of service number and name, unless mistaken Marthiensen. Wear from use. Pair of Imperial German Navy GaitersField-grey canvas gaiters with natural leather edging, used by shore and base personnel. Closed by three side leather straps and an underfoot strap. Both stamped with the "T"-shaped acceptance mark of the Kaiserliche Marine, issued by the Kiel depot (BAK) on 17 March 1915. One bearing handwritten name and service number, probably "Marthiensen." Worn condition.
