A pair of rectangular black lacquered wood panels with inlaid bone and mother-of-pearl decoration depicting on each a boddhisattva on his mount, with three cranes in flight above and a few tufts of grass around, on one Kannon seated on an elephant and holding a lotus stem, and on the other Monju Bosatsu standing on a lion and holding a scroll, a square seal with two characters at the bottom. The inlays are missing and the pieces have been glued back together.
