A pair of porcelain baluster vases with half-relief decoration of Zou-Lao accompanied by his disciple and a deer, scholars under a maple tree and birds perched on a tree in blossom. The decoration is in three colour registers, celadon, beige and lavender. The base of the neck is decorated with prunus flowers in relief imitating branches (the neck is slightly blocked). Workshop mark, Southern China, Second half of the 19th century Guangxu period. In the style of ANAM ceramics. Height Height : 45 cm
