Note: Our vases are based on the two famous Medici and Borghese vases:
Our vases are based on the two famous Medici and Borghese vases. The first, in the Musée des Offices, Florence, depicts the Trojan War episode in which Agamemnon and Achilles consult the Delphic oracle. The second, currently in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (Inv. M.985), depicts Dionysus and Ariadne in a procession of satyrs and bacchantes.
