in bronze with a brown patina, of circular form, in the shape of a bowl with a large flat pavilion, on a high foot rising from a base depicting a rock with a pair of pheasants on it, the vessel decorated in slight relief with a lakescape animated by a boat and a pavilion housing two scholars.
Signed on the base, in a large poly-lobed cartouche, "Hasegawa settsu daijô Harusada saku".
