PARTS OF A BRITISH LIFE GUARDS OFFICER'S MOUNTED REGIMENTAL UNIFORM.
Ca. 20th Century AD. Three constituent parts of the ceremonial dress worn by an officer of the British Life Guards Regiment when mounted. This lot is composed of a cuirass of matching breast and back plates with original red leather lining, a cross-body white leather belt with ammunition pouch, and a matching pair of white leather gloves. The Life Guards is the most senior regiment of the British Army and is part of the Household Cavalry, together with the Blues and Royals. Size: 140-500mm x 340-520mm; Weight: 5kg Provenance: Property of a European collector; Ex. British collection, 1980s- 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
