Third official edition of Pascal's Pensées, published one year after the original with the privilege dated 27 December 1666. Although the title reads "Troisième édition" it is a forgery of the true second edition with the errors corrected. Spine a little faded but otherwise a fine copy bound by Auguste Petit, established in Paris around 1850 (Tchémerzine V, 72).
