Pascal Paoli (April 1725 - February 1807), general of the Corsican nation. Autograph letter signed, undated, to a friend, probably Anfriani (according to the correspondence published by Graziani and Bitossi, it can be dated after 29 November 1756 because it is related to the preceding letter. See Paoli, Correspondance vol. II, p. 52). He wanted his correspondent to attend the Magistrato in this very critical month, in the company of Poletti and the little Fabiani . He was counting more than ever on his skill in the council
