Pascal Paoli (April 1725 - February 1807), general of the Corsican nation. Letter signed, Corte 20 March 1756, to Francesco Antonio Anfriani, 1 p ½ in-8° in Italian. Pascal Paoli mentions an affair in Lunghignano (Pino piève in Balagne) and points out that the population should have had recourse to the Magistrato. The honour of the courts was at stake in this case. He is also convinced for the time being that French troops will not be coming to Corsica.
