Paul CLAUDEL ÉPREUVE avec corrections et additions autographes, Un poème de Saint John Perse, [1949] 13 pages in-8. Article introducing the poem Vents by SAINT-JOHN PERSE, in the Revue de Paris of 1 November 1949.
In addition to typographical corrections, Claudel adds a note: 'Mesa, as is well known, is the Spanish word for plateau'. At the end, he asked for "Saint John Perse to be spelt out here"; and "Here I would like the diagram of the trade winds from the Larousse ne 6 volumes to be placed as a fleur-de-lampe".
