PAVEL SHILLINGOVSKY (1881-1942) Armenian village signed in pencil, stamp of the Igor Dichenko collection (verso) lithograph on paper 36.5 x 49 cm Provenance: Collection of Igor Dichenko (Ihor Dychenko) (1946-2015), Soviet and Ukrainian collector, art historian and painter; one of the ideologues of the Ukrainian avant-garde, Kiev. Private collection, Europe Engraver, draughtsman, painter and educator. He studied at the Odessa Art School (1895-1900), the Higher Art School of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1901-1911) under I. E. Repin and D. N. Kardovsky, and in the engraving studio of V. V. Mate (1912-1914). Co-founder of the 'Seize' group (1922). At the buyer's request, we would be happy to provide a general report on the condition of the lot described above.
