Fiddleback clock in blackened wood and red tortoiseshell veneer, decorated on the front with Boulle-type marquetry in a chased and gilt bronze rocaille frame, the top adorned with an urn, finely chased brass dial with enamelled cartouches showing the hours in Roman numerals, mechanical movement with key and pendulum, second half of the 19th century (dimensions 60x29x12cm - marquetry cracked, one foot loose, untested, no guarantee of functioning, as is).
