The white enamelled dial shows the hours in Roman numerals and the quarter minutes in Arabic numerals. The gilt bronze ocotgonale-shaped terrace is adorned on the front with a rectangular cartouche with chased decoration of a scene with working putti. It is supported by six spinning top feet.
