LOUIS XV STYLE ELEPHANT CLOCK Based on a model by Jean-Joseph de Saint-Germain In chased, patinated and gilt bronze, the dial signed "J. Gudin/AParis", the movement signed "J.Gudin a Paris", inscribed in a case surmounted by Cupid, supported by an elephant, resting on a rocaille terrace; round movement with two gear bodies, barrels, anchor escapement, single balance wheel, silk thread suspension, count wheel on the outside, striking on the passage.
