SABINE ABDUCTION CLOCK, LOUIS XVI PERIOD in ormolu and grey marble, the circular dial set in a bollard with knotted oak branches on the front spandrels. The dial is in white enamel with Indian, black and red numerals for the minutes, hours and dates of the Gregorian calendar (31 days); the Brocot-type movement has been replaced and is numbered 1317. It is surmounted by a group depicting a man as a centurion abducting a naked woman and stands on a terrace with bollards linked by chains.
