In chased and gilt bronze, the white enamelled dial signed "LE NEPVEU A PARIS" inscribed in a case flanked by a woman draped in the antique style holding a medallion illustrating the bust of Louis XV in profile and a putto among clouds resting on an ebony veneered base finished with claw feet; formerly fitted with a music mechanism now missing.
