CROUCHING FIGURE IN TERRACOTTA
Anatolian art, second half of 3rd millennium BC
Statuette of a male figure depicted crouching, his legs drawn up to his chest and clasped in his arms, his face perforated at the nostrils and ears, engraved with lozenges at the eyes and a bird's beak nose. On the body, a linear engraved decoration forms two swastikas on the back.
The right arm and leg are missing.
