Small "Mazarin" desk in rosewood, violet and olive veneer with a rich decoration of rosettes and fillets. The crossbow-shaped front opens in the centre with a drawer above a leaf, flanked by two pedestals each opening with three drawers. It stands on eight sheathed legs joined four by four by an X-shaped brace. Ornamented with gilt bronze. Louis XIV period.
