Inspired by the suantouping or garlic clove shape. The body and neck are multi-lobed and decorated in polychrome enamel on a turquoise background with stylised lotus flowers and ruyi heads. Under the hexagonal base is engraved a mark 大清乾隆年製 坤寧亭宮第二分 - Made during the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing Dynasty - Second section of the Palace of Peace and Harmony.
