SMALL FLORIFORM JARDINIÈRE in chased gilt metal enamelled in polychrome, standing on four small feet, the four-lobed sides decorated with four multi-lobed cartouches in the shape of ruyi heads on a chased background of lotus scrolls, animated by Buddhist emblems on a turquoise background surrounded by four bats facing each other. The flattened rim is decorated with an engraved Greek frieze and the feet in the form of ruyi heads with archaic motifs. Copper interior. China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), Jiaqing period (1796-1821).
