LOUIS XVI STYLE SMALL PEDESTAL TABLE in burl veneer, marquetry depicting an allegory of love surrounded by garlands of foliage and ribbon bows. The belt is decorated with a Greek frieze in blackened wood and elm burr. It opens with a drawer in the waist and stands on four mahogany tapered and fluted legs finished with small bronze sabots.
