First edition of the French verse translation of the Canzoniere and Triumphs by Philippe de Maldeghem (1547-1611). It was resold in Douai six years later. The edition is decorated with a woodcut portrait of Petrarch and Laure and a fold-out map of Vaucluse. A very fine copy, finely bound by Allô. From the Albert Kies library (2013, II, n°387), with bookplate. Opening pages slightly unstuck, slight rubbing to the headpieces.
