PHOENICIAN BRONZE RING DEPICTING MELQART.
Ca. 400 - 300 BC
A bronze finger ring with a circular bezel and a broad hoop, the shoulders faceted. The bezel is engraved with a stylised frontal head of Melqart with dotted detailing around the face.

Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired in Brussels, Belgium; initially from a Swiss private collection (1901–1981).
