PHOENICIAN GLASS EYE BEAD WITH KNOB PROJECTIONS.
Ca. 400 - 200 BC A rod-formed bead with a cylindrical body of opaque yellow glass decorated with applied stratified eyes in white and blue on a white ground, with a band of turquoise knobs above and white knobs below. Size: 24mm x 27mm; Weight: 16.7g. Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s; Reputedly from the Dr. Nolte collection, acquired in the early to mid 20th Century AD.
