BLUE AND WHITE FAIENCE SERVICE PLATE, PROBABLY ROSSETTI MANUFACTORY, TURIN, CIRCA 1740 oval and with wavy rim, with architectural landscape within Berain decoration; broken and recomposed H 5.2 cm, W 41.8 cm A TURIN WHITE AND BLUE MAIOLICA DISH, PROBABLY ROSSETTI, CIRCA 1740; DAMAGED AND REASSEMBLED The decoration of this dish, centred by a small landscape in reserve, is reminiscent of the 'Dutch' decoration of the previous lot: the mould is characteristic of the Rossetti manufacture (see, among others, Campanella, op. cit., for maiolica now in the collections of Palazzo Madama, Turin, inv. 2822/C).
