PIERRE CHAPO (1927-1987), "S45", Elm chair. Designed around 1975. The chair is called "CHLACC" after the name of the patented process used to manufacture furniture of the same type. The S 45 is made up of numerous small sections of wood that are finger-jointed and glued together. The result is a slim, light structure with slender lines.
