Pierre OUTIN (1840-1899). "Au beau Navire", near the Régemortes Bridge in Moulins Oil on canvas signed lower right. Height: 78 cm 78 cm - Width: 60 cm Note: this painting represents a genre scene in front of the Régemortes bridge in Moulins, his native town. A pupil of Alexandre Cabanel, Pierre Outin began exhibiting at the Salon in 1868 and won two medals in 1881 and 1889. One of his paintings was also exhibited at the Palais de l'industrie des Champs-Elysées in 1878 at the Salon de peinture et sculpture, held in conjunction with the Paris Universal Exhibition.
