Note: Born in 1917 in Gevrey-Chambertin, he soon attended the drawing academies of Montparnasse, where he rubbed shoulders with sculptors Paul Belmondo and Volti. From 1949, he worked occasionally for Pol Chambost and Georges Jouve. From 1957, he exhibited his ceramics at the Galerie Steph Simon in Paris, where he became the gallery's resident designer.
