Powder flask Carved coconut Decorated with two doves pecking each other under a winged Love crowning them and next to a small Cupid sending his arrows. Another scene shows a hunter with his dog and a third scene shows Aphrodite keeping the fire of Love burning. All three scenes are inscribed with laurel wreaths. A large finial on one end and the snout of a fantastic animal on the other, embellished with green sulphur eyes. Complete with fittings and spout. 19th century Missing chain, parts refixed
