A total of 701 units of the RS America were built exclusively for the American market. It is based on Carrera 2 models and differs from RS models, made for the European market, in terms of the rigid spoiler and a stronger emphasis on comfort. However, the RS America is a likewise uncompromising sports vehicle with sports chassis, leightweight doorpanles sports seats and no power steering. The Porsche RSA offered here was ordered by its first owner with locking differential, air condition and sliding roof, accordingly, it has a good array of extras. It was sold to its second owner in 1996, in 2012 the RSA went to its current owner in Germany. The car is in very good original condition and still has its original first finish.
