The other side is carved with a flower in a circle. The borders are highlighted with wolf's teeth on both sides. A star sits atop a crescent moon. The counterweight is in the shape of a trompe l'oeil book and bears the words: "LORENT MASSARDIER AU BREAT", accompanied by the date "1880" on the other side, both within a frame decorated with nail strokes.
