English leather tool belt pattern 1914 from a corporal of the 10th Royal Irish Fusiliers. Attic piece, dry leather, brass buckle and oxidised rivets. Marking on the main strap 10 RIF for 10th Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, with regimental number 1299 corresponding to Corporal Robert McAllister, who later transferred to the Labour Corps. The pin buckle on the small strap is detached from the leather. Worn. Difficult to find.
