Designed to carry all types of shovels, such as Linnemann M1896, M1914 round-iron shovels, French or German straight shovels. Simplified manufacture made up of a leather strap forming buckle, riveted, with joined ends forming tabs of belt, and a strap of closing and maintenance. Engraved initials and the letter V in a cartouche are cold-marked 20. Uncommon. Wear from use, patina.
