Monogrammed "C. DE G" on the inside; worn and soiled. 16.5 x 10.5 cm Accompanied by a handwritten note from Philippe de Gaulle "Wallet of my father. Offered by my mother in Great Britain at the time of the Free French" on card headed Philippe de Gaulle / Admiral (R). Provenance : - Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970) - Then Admiral Philippe de Gaulle (1921-2024) - Then descendants To leave the EU, a CITES re-export permit will be required, at the expense of the future buyer. For an exit from the E.U., a re-export CITES certificate will be necessary and will be at the future buyer's expense.
