PORTRAIT OF A MAN (AESCHYLUS?) IN MARBLE Roman art, 1st - 2nd century AD Head depicting a bearded man with wavy, layered locks of hair, a straight nose, slightly drooping eyelids, thin parted lips and deep features. This face is reminiscent of the portrait of the playwright Aeschylus in the Farnese collection. The beard and hair are missing.
