CANON POT IN NEVERS FAIENCE FROM THE LATE 17th CENTURY, c. 1680
Polychrome decoration with the pharmaceutical inscription C. Violarum in a yellow background band in a blue background medallion surmounted by the symbol of the Dominicans formed by the Alcantara cross and two dogs holding torches, two palms and two knurls, on the reverse an animated landscape with pagodas in the Chinese style, the neck decorated with simulated gadroons and the pedestal with foliage scrolls; restoration to the pedestal.
