H. 20 - W. 24.3 cm On the reverse a small modern handwritten label reads Lesueur (Blaise), probably referring to Blaise Nicolas Lesueur (1714 - 1783) François Renaud's FR mark can be found on several drawings once attributed to Nicolas Poussin, now returned to other artists (Cf. Pierre Rosenberg & Louis - Antoine Prat, Nicolas Poussin, Catalogue raisonné des dessins ; Tome 2, R 1082 à R 1085 - 1994).
