Magnificent Meissen porcelain pendulum with bird figures A naturalistically designed rock base supported by rocailles in high relief, surrounded by delicately modelled, plastically applied flower tendrils, merging into a corresponding clock case. Cockatoo and parrot sitting on the side of the base. The case framed by ascending branches with fully sculpted birds, crowned by a nest with young birds. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Round dial framed by flowers and shell rocailles with Arabic numerals. Brass movement with half-hour strike on bell. Model no. 60817. crossed swords mark.
