Magnificent cigar case in the style of Karl Fabergé. Silver, partially gold-plated. Cylindrical shape with a moulded lid. All-round cobalt blue enamelling over a fine, wavy engine-turned ground. Relief-decorated rims with stylised laurel wreath decoration and pearl rim. In the centre, below the base of the lid, a stepped, mother-of-pearl-coloured, enamelled band over a corresponding engine-turned ground. Three applied laurel branches on top. The monogram "H" on the front of the lid. A double-headed eagle in relief on the top of the lid. Applications set with small diamond roses and ruby cabochons. Marked 88. Weight approx. 225 g. L. 16 cm.
