Splendid Meissen coffee dejeuner with snowball decoration, 6 pieces; coffee pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, 2 cups with saucers and tray. Baluster-shaped, oval and round bodies. The wall, the rim, the lid and the back of the saucers decorated with densely applied, individually embossed so-called snowball blossoms, surrounded by highly sculptural, branching leaves, emerging from their twisted branches or forming the stand ring and growing upwards as well as growing next to the flower umbels of the lid crown. Kaendler began in 1739 for the first time to cover the surfaces of porcelain with sculptural flowers on all sides, instead of embossing them partially as before, which was both an artistic sensation and a technical masterpiece.
