Precious test weaving of a gold lamé velvet commissioned from Bissardon, Cousin and Bony for the second salon of the appartement d'honneur at the Palais de Versailles, Lyon, 1811, Duck-blue chased velvet with gold lamé, with incomplete decoration of an imperial fritillary and a floral cartouche, 104 x 58 cm. This velvet was later used for the hanging of King Louis XVIII's cabinet in the Palais du Tau and featured in the Mobilier National exhibition Le dernier Sacre au Printemps dernier (GMPP 715/35).
