Caen, Hardel, 1858.

Interesting account by a Caen historian and librarian of the imperial couple's stay in Caen during a tour of Normandy and Brittany.
A copy in a present binding, probably given to the couple on this occasion.
Binding slightly rubbed, beginning of a split at one of the spine ends, blackened flyleaves and endpapers, three small passages of text marked in red pencil.
