PREDYNASTIC EGYPTIAN STONE ANIMAL-SHAPED VESSEL Nagada IIc Period, Ca. 3500 BC A stone vessel with a flat base and high vertical walls. It is supported by four short legs and features an animal protome on the front. The animal has an elongated neck and circular engraved eyes with distinct pupils. The vessel has four holes at the top, allowing it to be suspended with a wire or rope.For similar see: The Egyptian Museum in Cairo, JE 66628.
