Provenance: acquired by the family in 1972-73 at Gianetti Antonia Antichità - Via Gesù 3 - Milan Note: one very similar sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 28 May 2014, lot 3472, HKD 600.000,00 - USD 77.726,00 Each finely potted with the rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior delicately painted with four circular medallions decorated with spray of peach, pomegranate, chrysanthemum, lychee, rose, two of the medallion accompanied with aster design, interspersed with pair of lotus spray, all reserved on a ruby ground exquisitely incised with feathery, scrolling tendrils, the interior painted in shadow of under glaze-blue with a medallion of a basket containing peaches, chrysanthemums and rose, beneath spray of aster, pomegranate and lingzhi in the cavetto, underneath the base a seal mark in underglaze blue. In good condition, one with a minor flake of 0,6 by 0,3 cm and the other with a hairline of 4 cm from the mouth rim, both with light scratches inside on the centre. Start price : 12000
