The first volume of this famous science fiction collection, launched in 1954 by Robert Kanters at Denoël, and discontinued in 2000. This set includes twenty of the twenty-three volumes published in large format. Nos. 12, 22 and 23 are missing. Two novels by Ray Bradbury published in the same collection in in-12 format are included (nos. 71/72 and 84/85).
