Valuable set of 7 volumes from the famous Viaggi Straordinari series by Julius Verne, published between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The collection is distinguished by its elegant contemporary bindings in full red leather (or morocco), with rich gilded friezes on the spines, titles stamped in gold and decorated cuts. The volumes feature the original frontispieces and are enriched by numerous iconographic apparatus (engravings and drawings) by famous illustrators of the time such as L. Benett and F. Férat. Bindings are well-preserved with vivid gilt; slight signs of temporal wear to the covers and corners, consistent with the period. Interior generally clean, with natural, light browning to the paper.
