Paris, Ponthieu, 1824. 2 volumes in-8, fawn half calf, spine decorated, coat of arms at head and crowned numeral at tail, smooth edges (period binding). First and only published edition of this bibliographical directory, which borrows from the manuals of Cailleau and Duclos, Fournier and Brunet. It is preceded by an interesting Essai élémentaire sur la bibliographie of 264 pp. (the table of which is bound before the preface).
A copy bearing the arms and cipher of Louis-Philippe d'Orléans (1773-1850), Duke of Orléans and first Prince of the Blood, who became the last King of the French in 1830. Upper headbands worn, one spine split, foxing.
