Terracotta pseudo-bottle, CALABAR, Cross River State, Nigeria. Presumed to date from the XIV-XVI century. Height: 21 cm. Provenance: Collection of a couple of collectors, Blois. Note: Calabar urns or pseudo-bottles were kept in caches, which contained numerous ritual objects, which explains the very good conservation of these terracottas.
