High-quality baroque silver coffee pot, fully gold-plated. Pear-shaped body over a trumpet-shaped stand with a domed, hinged lid and baluster knob. High-set, short console spout with hinged cover. The wall and lid divided by vertical lines. Mirrored monogram "CMC" or "CCM" crowned by the crown prince's crown on the front. Dark wood ear handles. Marked, tremolier stroke, hallmark, master Johann Peter Müller (becomes master 1727). Weight approx. 1200 g. H. 29 cm. The monogram "CMC" or "CCM" and the Grand Duke's or Crown Prince's crown possibly refer to the origin from the House of Mecklenburg, probably Cecilie zu Mecklenburg (1886-1954), who was the last Crown Princess of Prussia and the German Empire from 1905-1918 as the wife of Prince Wilhelm of Prussia (1882-1951).
